Yep, I've moved to pre-ordering from deepdiscount. they've been beating amazon on most titles. I might start ordering direct from arrow as well.

Hey, if amazon wants to push away customers, go for it.

How is DD for getting things on time? I know back in the day, I used to regularly get things as early as a week before street date, but after they moved out of Illinois, that all changed. Now it just seems like all of their product is backordered all of the time.

Amazon is terribly inconsistent these days.

I can't tell you yet since I just ordered like 4 titles and saved about $25 from the amazon price. But I'm definitely looking for alternatives. I'll probably just buy from whoever has the best price from deepdiscount, grindhouse, and diabolikdvd. Ebay and some stores are having 20% summer sale. So I bought Gholies II 4k for like $27 after tax. Which is like $13 cheaper than amazon right now.

Saw a 35mm screening of this at the Academy Museum earlier this summer. Cassandra was there for Q&A hosted by Peaches Christ. Print was her own copy (which she donated to the Academy archive) and looked incredible.

Will be buying the 4K upon release.

Gotta get this, but that art insert will be flipped over immediately and slip flushed right down the commode. I will not own a Sara Dreck cover. Ever.

I agree it really cheapens the aesthetic of the films imo.

Because that art style is awful. That’s my reason anyway. When I got the Blu-ray of this, I immediately took the slip off and threw it in the trash. Flipped the inner sleeve around. I’ll do the same with the 4K.

I hadn't seen this movie in years, so I'm watching it on Amazon Prime. I realized I've only ever seen the network television broadcast that we taped off TV when it aired on NBC in 1990, so there's a number of jokes and lines of dialogue that are taking me by surprise.

What a fun flick. I think I'll preorder this new set.

Amazon UK doesn't carry new Arrow UK titles.

Thank you for the answer. Seeing as you say "new", is there a certain period after which they aren't considered new anymore and they will be listed?
