Reservoir Dogs also had a bunch of dvd covers to choose from. Then Age Ultron had 2 Blu-ray steels at release.

Ah, I remember standing in Wal-Mart for 15 minutes trying to decide with cover of The Winter Soldier to get. I was like, "It's a Captain America movie, so get the Cap one. But it's the Winter Soldier, so get the WS one." I eventually got the Winter Soldier one, lol.

This was after receiving the Steelbook from Best Buy, but it was balled up like aluminum foil and that and the discs were in a plastic bag with a "sorry" note from the USPS.

This decision consumed a lot of my time. Weeks up until its release. And when the day came, I spent a good 30 minutes STILL trying to decide between the side shot of Cap and the Winter Soldier. I too settled on the Winter Soldier.

I got Rocket for GotG and spent far less time deciding on that one.

No, but the image would be upside-down. So if you were looking at it flat and opened, the characters would be going in opposite directions. It'd be exactly like the BvS steel was since it was the same steel just packed differently

But also probably restocked to death because it’s Disney, and they know everyone is going to want a copy of both designs. Feel like it’s going to be like Loki. Initial preorder anxiety just for the market to be saturated with them.

My experience buying every Marvel steel over the years is not a constant flow of restocks. Sometimes they would do crazy sales if it was wildly overstocked like love and thunder, but that was all on bestbuy. I don't expect Walmart to have any clue what they are doing nor will they ever discount the way bestbuy did.

I got both Wakanda Forever steelbooks, but that was when they were best buy exclusive and not 50 bucks each...

hopefully these aren't Walmart exclusive and I can rely on Amazon's pre-order guarantee to give me the lowest price.

I love Wolverine, but the more pronounced Dogpool on the Deadpool one makes me choose Deadpool.

I was thinking Monday as it seems to be the trend lately to officially announce the physical release and digital release the day before the digital release is live.

The 2nd would be Wednesday and unless I'm mistaken, digital releases are Tuesdays.
