I played for a bit on Switch 2 docked and the shimmering is still present. Didn't seem to be any perceptible performance gains either (not that it runs bad on Switch). I'd say you're fine to stay on Switch.

Do you mean between the switch and PC? only few publishers do this (Ubisoft, CD Projekt)
