What's the likelihood of TV bouncing back from this?
While they’re definitely in a rough spot right now I think they’ll bounce back. Their new deluxe editions seem to be successful for them (the last 3 releases all basically sold out during preorders) and they’re planning some new releases for Black Friday. Their current situation has definitely slowed them down but I think we’ll still see standards of these newer titles.

Also, their owner Ryan Graveface owns a bunch of businesses; TV movie/record label, another record label, a couple record stores, a few museums, plus they were running a music venue… seems to me like someone that doesn’t give up easily.

Have you seen the video from the owner or the posts on twitter from his top guy? You tell me if all seems well.

The video Ryan put up on their Facebook page detailing their struggles? Yes, I've been referencing that in this thread. If you're talking about Brad's personal twitter I couldn't care less, though looking through it looks like he's retweeting and thanking a lot of people for their support of TV, I'm fine with that.

I'm not saying all seems well, but I'm also optimistic that TV will come out of this low point in a better spot than they were. I think they've been really open about their issues and honest with their assessment that they were a little too ambitious at first and had to step back and regroup. They've had 3 sold out preorders in a row and Brad said they have new releases planned for Black Friday, seems like they're righting the ship to me.

Thanks for the info. I don't do Facebook or Twitter, so I'll take your word for it. I'm going to be optimistic and hold out for a standard release. All I need is a case with a disc inside.

I regret not going all in with Collectors Edition (300 copies). Oh well, at least I have the Limited.

Ordered the limited from Orbit. Could have settled for the standard with the embossed slip if there was no choice but the limited was worth the extra $12. I thought I was the only one that rented the vhs from Blockbuster when I was kid. It's a solid, low budget, sometimes silly horror that punches above it's weight. I certainly see the Leprechaun director's influence.

These are supposed to start shipping late this month as I understand it. I'm not actually expecting a shipping notification by month's end but I'd like to be proven wrong.

Here's something interesting, but it looks like Shout may be releasing a Blu-ray of Rumpelstiltskin in 2025.

IMDB is not always 100% accurate since it's based on user-submitted info. But this is still weird/interesting.

Yep, and there are a number of others listed with 2025 as the release year. It will be interesting to see if they come true.

I'm guessing this is an incorrect listing. Terror Vision is releasing this by end of month (at least according to schedule) and their standard version is being released in 2025. My guess is that's the Shout listing.

It is. These are user-submitted. Same person submitted a both a Disney and a Criterion-held title as coming from Shout.

How do you see who contributed what info? IMDB states contributions are anonymous so is there a way to verify who submitted the info?

They're all pretty much listed/worded the same way and all are being added at the same time. Do you believe this is the work of numerous independent people all suddenly adding Shout studios submissions to IMDB?

I don't know when those listings were actually added.

Terror Vision specifically mentioned on their podcast that licensing the soundtrack for release ultimately helped in securing the home video rights. Seems hard to believe another label is going to release the movie in the same year.

If anyone wants Rumpelstiltskin on blu-ray or 4k it is being released from Terror Vision. They put out quality releases so preorder with confidence.

OrbitDVD still hasn't closed their pre-order so I'm wondering when this will ship.
