I'm going to wait to pre-order until the end of the week (Friday/Saturday).I want to see what the deal will be with Gladiator II and Wicked. Whether there are combo steelbooks (Paramount and Universal usually does them),what they may look like and if either are store exclusive to Walmart or Amazon or general release steelbooks.

That way I can maybe pre-order The Penguin with either one or both of the others at Amazon or Target and get the free shipping.

The only thing that sucks IMO is that the Blu Ray probably won't have a slipcover. WB has stopped doing slip covers for their Blu Ray releases.Only 4K gets a slipcover now.

If the 4K release is a MOD as I suspect, it probably won't get a slp either. Sandman S1 4K didn't get one at least.

For anyone who got the standard edition: did it come with a slipcover or slipbox or anything like that? Or is it just the plain plastic case and the fancy stuff is reserved for the 4k?

Yes, the standard Blu-ray release has a slipcover, meanwhile there is nothing fancy about the standard 4k, it’s just a plain regular case with no slipcover…
