Absolutely smashing series finale - one of the best ever.

It's thrilling to know just how much the series covered over its three all-too-brief seasons, but hopefully more Marvel Animation projects will be announced soon, aside from anything that's already being worked on.

Season 3 was also probably the most solid of the 3, not a single episode was anything short of a masterpiece, both in narrative and also in terms of animation.

Aaaaaaand.... now it's just another 6 weeks or so until the next dose of that lovely Marvel magic.

Wouldn’t three separate seasons cost more that a complete series collection? But then again it’s Sony.

Awful ending.
[Show spoiler]The show should've ended with The Guardians of The Multiverse, PERIOD!

Edit: Don't need the smartass reply. Thanks.

Also slight spoilers....

[Show spoiler] Natasha Lyonne bettwe not be playing her Byrdie character in Fantastic Four. Keep that character in What If. What a horrible character.

What makes this worse is :

[Show spoiler] the Byrdie character resembles Lea Thompsons Beverly character more then Darcy

3 season steelbook, hopefully only 3 discs. They don't be stupid and increase the disc count to increase the price... and increase the chances of scratches lol

Season 1 was 4 hours and 44 minutes, 2 was 5 hours, 3 was 3 hours and 55 minutes. That could fit one season per disc.

I found Byrdie to be very annoying... and the episode about Howard and Darcy was beyond dumb. As baby, Byrdie was more blue but then it's like they cast Natasha and decided to model adult Byrdie to fit her appearance. And somehow looked more like the real person than the characters who actually were based on live action versions. Kate Bishop was pretty much the only one who looked like her actor, and maybe Monica. I never liked this animation style and it made everybody look very generic and nondescript. It was often hard to figure out who some of them were, unless they were a different color. I thought Darcy was Agatha from the early photo.

They really tried too hard to cut the tension trying to be witty and cut in with light things in serious moments which don't land. I liked some of the storylines across the series, but some were just lazy. And I get one decision can change stuff, but that
[Show spoiler]can't change stuff like genetics having people appear over a century earlier like Kate and Shang Chi in the 1800s. I liked Captain Carter but they relied on her way too much after she was a fan favorite, and then killing her off was ridiculous.

[Show spoiler]Also, why was Beck so much older in this than everything else? Riri should be around Peter Parker's age and Beck is not an old man in Spider-Man... That whole episode was dumb to me, Riri's not that great of a character in the MCU. And now she's OP. This is a weird trend with Marvel lately. The episode could've been great, it made me wish Quake was in it and it was an alternate take on the Agents of SHIELD season where she was being blamed for breaking Earth apart.

ThunderStorm was great though, and Kahhori was the best show creation, even if they did make her a bit OP.

Never heard of any studio or production company that didn't want that

Maybe it's due to being a big Natasha Lyonne fan, I thought she was fantastic, the best new character introduced in the series since Kahhor.

The tone seemed just right to me, and very much in line with what was established in the first two seasons.

I loved both - and really enjoyed their interaction with CC and Byrdie.

What's OP?

I didn't like the forced humor undertones in the previous either.. like how everybody's being serious and Valkyrie tries to undercut it by being like who wants a drink? *grin grin*

OP is overpowered, she was a What If show creation and now she's basically more powerful than anybody right out of the gate. Like G'iah having everybody's powers in Secret Invasion.

I thought the egg episode did a good job of setting up the fact that whatever was inside of it had the potential to be incredibly powerful.

Does it make a lot of sense? About as much sense as an alien man who can fly, a billionaire who dedicates his life to fighting street crime, or a boy getting super powers after being bitten by a radioactive spider! In the world of comics, anything goes, the wilder, the better!

I agree with pretty much everything you said.

The Beck thing was also off-putting to me. I thought he was Vulture based off his look until they mentioned he was Beck.

This was easily the weakest season for me. The Shang Chi /Kate Bishop episode was the diamond this time.

Although they varied in quality a bit, I enjoyed the previous 2 seasons overall, this one unfortunately was a big ball of nothing. The only decent episode for me was the Red Guardian & Winter Soldier one. Don’t get me started on that pathetic Howard the Duck/Darcy episode. It’s probably for the best that they’re calling it a day here.

S1 and S2 were fantastic.

S3 was a big cluster****

the only good ones were Red Guardian & Bucky the Western with Shang Chi and Storm goddess of thunder

Man they dropped the ball pretty hard on this last season. A couple of the interactions between Red Guardian and Bucky were funny but beyond that it was a range of “meh” to outright awful.

Why the heck was Oscar Isaac brought back as Moon Knight for literally three lines of dialog?

Those watchers went
[Show spoiler]from we don't interfere to lets Thanos wipe every variant of their existence from the multiverse real quick. Talk about overkill. Infinity Ultron was also wasted.

A step down from the first 2 seasons. Will still buy the 4K set if they release it.
