The opening credits theme by Howard Shore is one that start playing in my mind once I see mention of this movie, but for the movie itself it felt kinda undercooked back in the day. Had some of those trademark camera movements as I recall but that and the music is all I can remember.

Still great extras and 4K is I guess good enough to revisit. This should have been part of the Nolan 4K set though.

Great news and glad to see Sony pulled out the stops.

How would it not be remastered, given this is also the Blu debut?

I presume they're going to release a non-limited standard edition later on? Or should I get worried?

The description for the included BD says it's sourced from the 4K master. I would assume it's OCN. I honestly doubt Sony would make a big deal of a Fincher-supervised transfer if it was just a 2K DI upscale. We'll know more soon, hopefully.

I did have the Superbit DVD years back, no idea where that went as it’s probably 20 years ago or something since I last laid eyes on it.

Will pick this and Seven up without any doubt. Now for Dragon Tattoo and whilst he’s at it, shoot the sequels too!

That terminology doesn't indicate a new 4K scan/DI rebuild at all. Even the LORD OF THE RINGS films got new Blu-rays from the 4K masters, and those were still uprezzed from the 2K DIs.

Would kill for a f*ckin’ standard release BUT I’ve been waiting for this one for years so I will accept this now and double dip later, if one does appear.

2025 is shaping up to be the YEAR OF FINCHER, baby!

Who released a 4K of Fincher's THE SOCIAL NETWORK that was an uprez of the 2K DI (and that was shot in 4K).
