The Scanners Trilogy will be released also in Italy from Plaion Pictures Italia for their Midnight Gold collection.

It will include the first movie in 4K.

Went with the Second Sight non-tat edition. I don't have the time to read essays nor do I need postcards and such....
I hope they give us a flawless encode and I wonder about the colour grading: will this have the Criterion's drab colours? Earlier in the thread there was a post saying that was revisionism. However, on the Criterion blu's thread, there were some good points being made by Kyle15 (among others), that the colour grading on the Criterion was in fact accurate. And I hope we'll get whichever is more accurate. That said, the drab colours of the Criterion have grown on me, suits the tone of both Sanners and The Brood (maybe even more so!).

My journey to owning this Ultimate Trilogy Edition:
Found out about it but was sold out on Plaion. Later made again available for pre-order but I was too slow. Then tried all other stores but would not ship outside Germany. Gave up, I can live without it.
Suddenly see it listed on Plaion last week so I order it immediately, even without German VAT removed and paying 10 EUR shipping. Received it today. The digipaks can barely be removed from the box (usually they put a ribbon underneath).
As I go to update my collection on here I notice there is a price listed (meaning, it's available on amazon), I click and yes, it's now even available on friggin amazon and I'd have paid much less.
Cherry on top? I think there is a typo in the art. Under the third disc it says "15 Seconds - You can't BREATH".
