It's Melissa George, not Megan. I actually love that little touch. Actually, I love everything in the Director's Cut.

Both versions should be offered, no question. Opinions vary, or so I've been told.

So this means that my list of obsessive must-have-on-UHD releases has become pretty small. Less than 5 or so titles now. Not sure what I'll do if/when they all get released. Probably just start screaming and never stop.

So did the Matrix rip off this movie? Or did both movies rip off Blade? I always used to confuse this film with Gattaca back then lol

It's been a while since I watched the DC, but I remember not liking how it had an unfinished, rough cut feel. My opinion of it was also colored by the hideous DNR that came with it on the US BD. The later German BD was thankfully DNR-free, and since it only had the theatrical cut, I preferred to watch that version.

Who signed off on The Crow transfer since the Director and DP are the same? If it's like that transfer, there would be no complaints here!

I actually noticed months ago that the transfer on the streaming version (both cuts) looks vastly improved from the overly processed mess that was on the blu-ray. Lovely layer of grain throughout with none of the terrible DNR that plagued the blu release. If that’s any indication, the 4K will be gorgeous!

Agreed! Needs a Prestigious Packaged Release, Booklet, mini poster, reversible cover insert, maybe some swag… A regular edition, a steel, a digibook, a syringe replica, a lenticular spinning circle… I would buy all variants…
Iv’e always felt this film depicted the truth of our reality in the sense that we are all placed here in this escapable maze playing parts created for us until we choose who we are rather than the scripts that were written for us. Love this film waaaaay more than the Matrix.
