Good to see them all being released, even with a few weird choices for the other sequels.

No 4k for Wedding and Reunion is disappointing. I expected 4k's for these two theatrical pie movies.

Using the UK title for Wedding (American Pie The Wedding) but the US title for America Reunion (not American Pie Reunion)

No Girls Rules in the Straight to Video collection (even if it's the worst of them by far) It would have been fine as an extra bonus in this set, as it's not worth it's own release.

Definitely getting AP2 once it comes up on Diabolik or Orbit, I really enjoyed the 4K of the first one. Hopefully they release the other 2 in 4K eventually.

As far as "American Wedding" is concerned, I think the main issue i had was the absence of Chris Klein. At their core, these movies were about friendship and to see one of 'em not even showing up to Jim's wedding, c'mon. Not to mention the other poor decisions that were made, but that stuck out the most.

Yeah, the absence of not only Chris Klein, but also Mena Suvari and Tara Reid really hurt the film. Plus, I think there's only so much you can do with a wedding atmosphere in a comedy. The other three films fared much better being centered on the final year of high school, back home from college, and a reunion after several years. Honestly, I think I'd rather watch Band Camp or The Naked Mile over Wedding.

The first 4 movies are great. For me, 1 and 2 are just as superb as each other, Wedding dips but then Reunion is up there again. I look forward to owning the 4 of them

Wedding and Reunion are now available to preorder at Atomic Movie Store. (Maybe they were waiting to get confirmation that there would not be 4Ks before they put the Blu-ray sets up?)

Anyway, I ordered all four - (American Pie 2, American Wedding, American Reunion, and American Pie Presents...) $144 gone.

I just hope that the "Deluxe" edition offers a little more this time than for the first one. I was pretty disappointed with the first especially for the high price. Otherwise I might just wait for the Standard edition since even that comes with a Slipcover.

Judging by the OP blurb, it looks almost identical - Outer card, inner slip and a book of photos.

I'll be honest, I don't think I've even looked at the photos book that came with the first movie 4k release from 88 Films, so I'll probably either skip this one and just grab the standard one later, or use the 20% trick with HMV and wait for the actual release day, enviously watching everybody else open their copies shipped early from 88 Films!

It would be nice to actually get confirmation from 88Films that they’re going to remain blu-only. Anyone reached out to them on twatter?

They should address why the other 2 are not being released in 4K. Literally every post on social media has people asking why they are not 4K. The Blu's have been out for years, so not releasing them in 4K is a poor decision.

I want my pie and to eat it too.

Hot take coming in.

Not only do I think American Wedding is the best entry in the franchise . . .

. . . I think dropping all the dead weight from the first two, including Klein, helped A LOT.
