I'm guessing no one has heard anything else about the problem with this disc? Since apparently some folks were able to purchase one at a trade show, you would think someone that has it would have shared their thoughts by now (perhaps in another online forum)?

Treasured's quote about getting "whatever needs fixing fixed" is strangely vague. I would be curious to know from someone who has this if they are able to tell what the problem with the disc is.

It was a frame-rate issue. Likely they encoded a 25fps file at 24fps or vice versa. It was juddering every couple of frames or so, based on what I've heard from those who have the current disc.

No one has been able to confirm whether the English track is improved from the Nordic DVD, though. I hope you can actually hear the film this time around.

Nope, haven't heard anything lately. Their website still has Estimated Release Date: 06/06/25*

Ya same, annoyed because my Naked Sex and In a Violent Nature 4k is caught up @ DiabolikDVD due to having this on it as well. I reached out to Jesse a month ago asking for removal of it and store credit but he said it shouldn't be a long delay at all and talked me out of it. I think I may reach out again as I'm thinking that's not true at this point.

This is one of the most spectacularly setbacked labels to come around since Midnight Legacy. Not a good look.

Same source as the German Blu-ray. All prints for the international cut of this film are controlled by Variety SRL in Italy.

Not *entirely* true, as they've managed more than one release.

Midnight Legacy was a spectacular flame-out that--to my knowledge--hasn't been replicated by any other would-be label.

That said, I preordered The Last Shark in February and really do hope Treasured gets it over the finish line soon.

The replacement discs are still at the manufacturers, but we have been assured it won’t be much longer until they are with us at TF HQ and we can then get your copies finally shipped out.

The Last Shark hasn't officially been released yet, they had some copies for sale at the Wicked Worcester convention but they've already said they'll replace those discs.

Excellent news! I hope it ends up looking better than that German release from last year, which supposedly was quite horrible.
