Very fascinating. I love both Fincher and Tarantino, but their styles are sooo different lol. If this truly materializes (which I hope for), it'll be super interesting to see Fincher directing Tarantino's words

This was my first thought. This will have a very different look than the previous film.

Tony Scott's visual style couldn't have been further from Tarantino's but True Romance turned out great. As long as Fincher doesn't muck around with the script and just applies his eye to Tarantino's words this could be really special.
