Happy that I held off on the standard blu-ray copy for this!! Honestly it just warms my heart seeing more films like this make it to the format instead of mainly action-heavy films like it's been in the early years. Like, Pride & Prejudice & Zombies is on 4K but not the 2005 Joe Wright adaptation. What's up with that??

If 10 Things I Hate About You and Romeo + Juliet could come soon out of Disney's vault soon to add to the 90s charm I'd be ecstatic!

I figured it would be released in July due to July 19th being the 1995 theatrical release date. Makes sense.

If Jawbreaker (1999) and Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion (1997) could both get 4K UHD releases, I’d be happy. I know Romy and Michele would be almost impossible due to Disney, but I still want it.

Are you confusing Ang Lee's Sense and Sensibility from 1995 with Joe Wright's Pride & Prejudice from 2005? S&S on 4K, but only in a one of those expensive Columbia Pictures sets. Until Sony decides to re-release it as an also-expensive steelbook lol But yes, Universal (or StudioCanal, as long as they have the US version) should really get on a 20th Anniversay of P&P 4K.

I'm surprised Sony hasn't fixed PPZ's audio issue, or did they without making a big deal with a re-release?

10 Things is one of the handful of movies that are in 4K digital but not on disc. If only Disney would actually do anything with them, preferably not in an expensive steelbook.

I'd also throw in She's All That for a 90s vibe.

I've got cover art! So, despite every retailer listing it as a Steelbook, it looks to just be a regular slipcover release, with the same artwork as the 25th Anniversary edition. I'm not sure if Paramount screwed up here, or if there are two editions coming out. I suppose there is also a remote possibility of it being a Steelbook with a slipcover. The sub $25 pricing does make more sense now though.

Yeah, I think some will be happy about this news, while others disappointed. I was going to say you can probably just pick up the Blu-ray Steelbook for cheap to make your own custom SB edition, but I didn't realize it's OOP now :/

It’s not a remote possibility at all for Paramount (SMILE 2, THE RING, etc.).

Yeah, I actually thought of The Ring one when I said that. I just meant it's not the most common packaging for Paramount catalog releases. I think over the years there's been around 10 or so of them, moreso for the horror genre than others. Would be cool if it was though, as it's sort of a best of both worlds thing to me, with it looking like a regular release on the shelf for those that prefer a Standard Edition, and a SB for those that want that.
