Blu-ray Samurai

![]() Well, I've had a few hours for that poster arwork to ferment and I like it. -but not here. Doesn't tie my memories of the film together or me seeing it in the cinema and thinking WTF am I watching. And it looks like Mick Jagger or maybe a Yoko Ono documentary or her husband. The Bu-ray is a bit more reserved (and I don't like it either): Quote:

Lionsgate Limited really dropped the ball on this one! If they would have got their ugly steelbook up, I would have had it pre-ordered already. I've been waiting on the Jacob's Ladder steel to go up for preorder so I can save a bit on shipping for It Follows.
I like the SC art mostly better, so I pre-ordered that one instead. I don't like the bright colors, but the concept is much better the the LL floating head picture book look. The LL steel doesn't really grab the feel of the movie. Even though it looks like the SC drops all of the legacy features, I still have the old blu-ray for that (even though I have it on ebay). I wonder if the blu-ray that's in the set is just a re-press of the old blu-ray that has the legacy features on it, or a new blu-ray with the remaster that drops the old features. |

Personally disagree here. I'd rather they give it the time it needs to develop the best possible presentation of the film than put out something that isn't ready.

Part of the reason it never got a sequel. And yes, the games are better. Quote:
I'm sure someone will think: "But what about missing the anniversary/special date/holiday release/(whatever deadline goes here)?" I'll respond with: If you knew there was an important deadline for a project (work, personal, or a Blues Brothers mission from God) and you had years of advance warning and still chose to not put the requisite effort into making it happen (or happen with coming off like you threw it together the night before) that would 100% be on you. |
