Mine arrived today but haven’t had a chance to watch. The set is really nice looking. It’s my fourth Cinematographe release. High quality stuff here.

Does anyone else have dialogue missing 0:00.56? I played it on my sound system and my tv speakers. Crossed referenced with a version on streaming. Want to check that its not just my disc.

Got mine in yesterday, BD came scratched (though 4K seemed fine) but very happy that VinSyn is being quick to replace it.

Also, a side note: for those who want to use slipcase protectors for these Cinématographe Mediabooks, you unfortunately have to remove the J-card for the 2-disc one to fit A NEW LEAF.

Didn't want to have to remove it, but I find those protectors very useful for these releases, so I just put the J-card within very close proximity on my shelf.

Can you elaborate? In the beginning when the doctor is asking Henry if he wants to step out and have a cigarette? What seems to be wrong with your copy? I just tested my 4K UHD disc and could not see anything wrong or missing.

Mechanics are car doctors! I don't really remember much of the film, last time I watched it was almost ten years ago, so it wasn't exactly fresh in my memory.

Nedless to say, the dialogue error seems to be some kind of isolated issue. Might be the specific disc that could be scratched or because of the player.

Never had seen this, but have to say this easily is a top 3 Cinematographe release for me so far. It is elevated even more by being possibly my favorite overall package of the whole line, the art is perfect and suits the movie so well. I’m only part way into the extras, but top to bottom one of the better supplement packages of this line also. Picture quality looked great, and loved the movie itself.

i just watched this and am excited to see a new blu ray release soon! i think i made a new noise from myself laughing. currently reading the new woody biography and elaine has been brought up often during his early writing career; it's interesting to hear about the comedy camps and their comradery. Walter Matthau is everything you want to see in the movies.
