We're aware of the scene...

The scene that still gives you chills whenever you watch it.

Yes, the old lady walking towards the classroom.

Sheesh.

I just want the original theatrical audio.

This release sucks if it doesn't have that.

The movie is ruined without it.

It's never been released on disc with the original theatrical audio.

I guess the sequel will get a much more available release. Luckily I have the SS LE. What's the point in releasing these if only a portion of the potential buyers can actually get their hands on one?

No idea what you're trying to say. When they sell out they'll potentially do another run. The Second Sight release is also readily available. lol

I doubt they will do another run. This is already something die hard fans have bought from SS. I see you have it as well. They are trying really hard to sell this as something new.

NEW FEATURES: Includes new bonus material available for the first time in this country.
The long-awaited U.S. debut of the 4K edition of this haunting thriller.
It will be on sale and then the sequel will be released for the world and even get a dirt cheap double feature 4k just to piss you off.

If this was available for international buyers it could at least be of interest to steelbook collectors in Europe.

I imagine the Amazon release of Snowpiercer has sold very well. I really like that one. Bought it from Amazon. They sent it all the way to my door. Looks good.

Yes. A marketing team is trying to sell a product. It follows.

And they have a tough job. A large part of the market is unable to buy the product even if they can afford it and really want to.

I'm not familiar with foreign markets so I can't speak to that, but It Follows is not difficult to purchase here in the US. Even if this new release didn't exist.

None of that will piss me off. The Second Sight release (which is great already) is readily available. I don't really care.

When does LL start shipping these out? Anyone have experiences with pre-ordering their other titles, whether they shipped them out earlier than the release date?

The movie is easily available from Second Sight Films. Lionsgate limited releases are not available anywhere outside US.

I already have the Second Sight release. There's nothing for me to be mad about. I don't care.

The Second Sight release is the better buy given the additional audio options, and for obvious reasons should be more readily available outside of the US than the LL release. I don't see a problem.

I have the original Anchor Bay Blu Ray, I bought the Limited Edition Second Sight release last fall and I just pre-ordered the Lionsgate Limited release. Not sure If this will be worth it but this is one of my all-time favorites. I'm already not impressed with the price point. I knew in advance based on what everyone was saying that these LL releases would be overpriced but I was a little shocked that with tax and shipping, the total came out to $47.23. This is one movie I don't mind buying over and over again because of how much I love it, but this is definitely going to be the last time. And I'm not sure if I'll have any interest in picking up another LL release . I guess we'll see if it was worth it when it gets here next week.

This movie is one of my favorite modern movies and I always point to it as an example of a great movie made within the last 10 years... which I guess I won't be able to do for very much longer since the movie is now celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Yikes I'm old...

I have ordered from them a few times and I usually get my items 3-4 days before the official release date. So I expect to get my copy of It Follows on Friday or Saturday.

Just got this in the mail today. I haven't had time to watch the movie, I've only skimmed the disc itself, but I can confirm that the disc does in fact have a 5.1 mix on it. The track just isn't listed in the specs, but it's there on the disc menu and everything. I can't say if it's the same mix from the original blu ray or the supposed original theatrical mix because I didn't see the film in theaters, but there is a 5.1 mix on the disc. EDIT: looking at the disc now, looks like the track is not lossless but in fact lossy. So plan accordingly.

What's not on the disc that was actually advertised was the poster artwork gallery from the original blu ray release. Not a huge loss but wanted to mention it. Every other extra from the original U.S. blu ray and the Second Sight 4K release is accounted for though.

I have to say I like the packaging, I was skeptical of the slipcover since I have Synapse's steelbook of Suspiria from 2017 and while I like that release and the slip cover itself, the slip has no grip on the steelbook when it's on, so you have to be careful when picking it up because the steelbook will slide right out. Not so on this release, the slip is made of plastic and it wraps around the steelbook nicely. Great touch!

So if it does have both audio tracks AND more extras, is there a chance this could be a You're Next situation where the LL marginally edges out the Second Sight disc? Guess we'll have to wait for PQ comparisons.
