According to the distributor, it is a so-called FuturePak. However, I have no idea how this differs from a steelbook.

Metalpak is the old name, now it is Futurepak, it is a steel case with no slice.

Caligula is a steel case on video unboxing ,it is exactly the same thing of a Steelbook, Steelbook is a brand of Scanavo and Steel case is the brand of Novobox.

So it's a steelbook without the steelbook branding. Also the glue on the spine looks really bad.

In the translation- the guy says the steelcase is a Spanish release. I don't see any listing (yet) for that from Spain.

Three different editions:
- Wooden box with metal case and book (Blu-Ray + UHD + book)
- Metal box only (Blu-Ray + UHD)
- Single case (DVD ultimate cut only)

Maybe by "we offer three versions of the film, including the 'ultimate cut'" they're referencing the 3 separate editions they're putting out of the Ultimate Cut? Could just be poor phrasing, though their insistence it comes with the OG X-version would counter this. Who really knows!

Potemkine asked me a while ago for the opening credits to the original version, it's just strange to me how contradictory and unclear the marketing is. Even if the OG cut is included, it'd require an additional disc.

Doesn't actually look like poor phrasing, as the original text clearly distinguishes between "trois versions" and "trois éditions". Did they possibly find a version in a warehouse at the last minute that nobody knows about? Nothing is impossible.

Certainly makes sense, but it's being communicated so poorly. More likely they're including one of the miscellaneous cuts Umbrella included, maybe even that cut print from the US release (don't get why they don't just state it, though).

There are still two months to go until the set is released. A lot can still change. I certainly hope so.

I did suggest to Tiberius when they were prepping their release that they ask Alexander Tuschinski for Tinto's cut, lol, but obviously nothing came of it.
