HD Movie Source also now sold out after less than 4 hours. Wal-Mart went back in stock an hour ago for only 5 minutes. Good luck out there

I missed Walmart again.

How long did it last on Walmart? Was it really only 5 minutes?

I can at least get off the edge of my seat for now. I've been drooling for these in a 4k steelbook for almost a decade at this point since 4k really came out.

This PO non-sense of being sold out within a few minutes is the stupidest thing ever. Whoever puts the limits on the website for PO and directs them to do so, should all be fired.

There is no reason for this to even be a thing.

Want to eliminate scalpers? Great me too. Put a 1 unit per household limit order on them then to beat the bots. Then us normal (I say that lightly as a steelbook collector lol) can actually get our order in and move on with our day.

Don't these companies understand how deranged steelbook collectors are?!

Well the KL Wayne's World 2 4K was mailed to me with floating discs. I tried to return it in store but the cashier didn't understand what was wrong with floating discs. Their system couldn't even give me a full refund for reasons even the shift manager at the time didn't understand. He said I'd have to come back during the week when the real manager would be there for the full refund. I told him should have relations with himself. A few weeks later I found my former copy of Wayne's World 2 on a shelf in their media section still with floating discs. So... YMMV.

This is probably the wisest thing to do, but this strategy would make it even more difficult for people to find these steelbooks given their already high demand. Thankfully I haven't seen anything that says these are Limited Edition. So worst case is there'd be pauses between print runs where these would be unavailable.

did any of the other disney + series steelbooks get reprints? this is crazy that this sells out instantly and its coming out next week.

The TV series did not get reprints as far as I know, but those seem to have had larger production runs, most likely because they are considered "new" titles.

With these older films like Tron: Legacy, Master and Commander, and Kingdom of Heaven, Disney seems to be underproducing them.

I don't know why they don't produce larger quantities. They are just leaving money on the table for themselves while simultaneously encouraging scalpers.
