It's "manufactured on demand" which essentially means they can order less units at a time because they only sell them online... not that that's as big of a difference as it used to be.
MOD discs are essentially the same as a wide pressed BD-ROM you'd find in store, but the artwork is often a little lesser quality (not huge, but you can often slightly tell) and the menus are usually static images with a simple interface... but the A/V quality is usually the same as a 'normal' release. |
