Those shows like Oprah or Ellen or The View... they don't pay jack for the stuff they give away. @all -- Oprah is the golden goose of endorsements--not necessarily because her viewers are "sheep" (that's a very juvenile, ridiculous thing to say), but because her fans relate with and thus emulate her. I might say that her more hardcore fans are "highly impressionable", but that's also because in most cases they don't expose themselves to an alternative.

That said, I hope the BDA contacts her with a memo letting her know she just handed out and promoted a product that was recently discontinued. She's very concerned about her reputation, and might act on it.
