I'll def buy No Country and I Robot. And as already pointed out by a lot of people. I too have learned Amazon is the best place to get the lowest priced new Blu's.

If you can wait a week or so you get no tax and free shipping too =] I get all my stuff from there now.

Why buy all of them on the same day?? Everyone must have alot of time to just sit around and watch movies. It's not like they won't be available the week after

"Hitman" is that bad but you don't see that stopping all of these people from buying it the day it's released . I never make blind buys... it just does not make any rational sense to me.

Definitely getting on release: I, Robot, I Am Legend, and Enchanted.
Blind buys (or rentals--nothing for sure): No Country for Old Men.
Catalog or previously released: Initial D, A Knight's Tale.

March is definitely picking up the slowness of February and January. I kinda feel bad for my wallet. =/

I used to blind buy on dvd all the time and just ended up with alot of movies I'd never watch again. More selective now on blind buys now with blu ray...Hitman is def a rental, obviously people don't care about throwing away $28. Go out and buy a bottle of Jameson instead!

The only one from that list that I preordered from Amazon is I, Robot (along with I Am Legend which comes out the following week).

If ID4 looks anything like the Japanese import (got it back in January), you guys are in for a treat!

just "No Country" (blind) and ID4 (because it should look cool) for me....

maybe Gattaca when it's cheaper, as I can't say I remember much about the film, but know it's highly visual.

Why buy something blind when you might end up not liking the film?

$19.99 is a fair price for Gattaca, unfair is the $28 for ID4 which they couldn't even carry over any of the special features of the 5 star dvd.

ID4
I, Robot
Gattaca

I might get 'Dogma' at a later date, but I am kind of tired of it from watching it too much in the past. I will probably get it eventually just to see Selma Hayek in HD.

The rest of the releases I haven't seen, and I don't blind buy. (No offense to blind people intended.)

Rick

This will be an expensive month. Between me, the wife, and the 3 kids, I think we all want what amounts to every release in March.
