There should be coupons for $5 off any Blu-Ray at your Best Buy, good in the month of March.

No officially for movies it's Monday, but the stores always put them out on the Friday.

That's a strange attitude. Despite the hair issue mentioned above, I would think the Blu-ray version of Ice Age would be a substantial improvement over the DVD version. And the DVD doesn't have lossless audio. But hey, to each their own!

I picked this up lastnight as well...and like previous posters have said...was a little dissapointed in the looks of scat compared to The Meltdown. You can especially see it in his tail, looks like patches of hair that all move together at the same time...weird and kind of hard to explain.

Well, I don't think I've ever bought a BD (or DVD for that matter) on release day in a "real" store, for some reason I thought new releases come out on Fridays.

I wish you'd tell that to the BB in my area. They don't usually get the movies until 1-2 weeks later.

Other than the hair, which is funny how big of an issue it is becoming, the movie looks beautiful. And the audio track is extremely well done. I still enjoyed it very much.

RIGHT. Because the Universe will unravel at the subatomic level without it.

Lol what do the hair of scat have to do with Bluray anyway. It was a shortcoming of rendering at the time them made this. I mean look at Toy Story 1 and look at Ratatouille

Exactly what I was trying to explain You can easily look past it once the movie is going though.
