I watched that movie at a junior high sleepover, and that scene scared the bejesus out of all of us.

It's a bit of a mess of a movie, but I think the Exorcist 3 is scarier than the first one.

+1 about Salems Lot. The first time I saw it about 10-15 years ago on tv I wasn't too sure what it was and didn't care much. I decided to watch it because I didn't have anything else to do. Anyways, the part that scared me was when the grave digger opened the coffin and that kid opened his white eyes very quickly. I kinda jumped on that part and gave me the chills.

The other part that gave me the chills was when that vampire kid was knocking on that blonde headed kids window and telling him to open it. The sound effects and the acting was very good and kept the audience glued to the screen. On the long run, all the old horror movies were the best and still is the best.

I didn't like Exorcist II or III and didn't scare me one bit. I liked the Unrated version of the original Exorcist. The creepiest part of that movie was when Reagan was spider walking down the stairs with blood coming out of her mouth. I could never get use to that part for some reason, it always haunts me everytime I watch that part. That part looks like someone's nightmare

The part in "The Changeling" where George C. Scott is listening to the tape never fails to send shivers down my spine and I recall being pretty disturbed by the ending of "Don't Look Now" in my younger years

LOL - I remember watching Ghost Story when I was about twelve at a family friend's house, which was a 15th Century farm house in the middle of nowhere in Southern England. After the movie we ended running around outside in the pitch black around midnight, all laughing hysterically because we were all so $hit scared!!

Great times!

Jaws in the Theater. (it had me looking around when swimming in fresh water lakes for months after) and the Original "The Hitcher" on HBO. (I know that Werewolves, SuperHuman Killers like Jason and Vampires aren't real) but there are Crazy Psycho's out there for real.

Default Jason

I sho forgot about Friday the 13th part 8: Jason takes Manhattan. there were three scenes that scares me when i was a lil boy...

1) The part were a woman looking at the mirror and baby boy Jason just pop up and attack her. scare me.

2) The part when four ppl in the car, one girl was driving and baby boy Jason just starting there looking all ugly and it was on slow motion.. that shit is scary.

3) After the crash, the girl was dreaming of the past about her trainer want her to swim but it was fast that he pushed her in the water.. kinda creepy cause you dont know when or where is Jason if u in the lake from Camp Crystal Lake
