I'm not going to vote. I currently have 1 in the wrapper. Normally,.. I'm certain I want something when I buy it on Blu Ray so it gets unwraped and watched soon thereafter.

But,.. I'm still somewhat uncertain about Enchanted even though I got it for $14.95. I'm kind of worried I won't like it and owning it will somehow just irratate me.

So,.. Typically they are all opened but I'm experiencing a special case just now.

Hate to admit it, but of the 20 Blurays I have, at least 12 are still in wrappers! Guess I need to get watching but my 11 month old son makes it a little hard!

Same here (all unwrapped not all watched).

I unwrap them right away to make sure:

A) that there is no damage to the disc(s)
B) that all discs are present (if a multi disc)
C) that there are no DUD's in there by mistake (Harry Potter).
D) that the disc(s) play properly

I have over 100 BLUs and I'd say about 40ish are wrapped still. Not enough hours in the day.

And I'm buying about 4 more BLUs this week. Three will remain wrapped for a few.

If it matters, I still have a few wrapped Xbox(orig) games and wrapped Dreamcast game in my cabinet. Um, don't think I'll be playing those.

Or Capcom Vs Marvel?

I may be interested...

I remember problems with some cd's & dvd's that I left sitting there wrapped until I wanted to watch them. Wrong cd's & dvd's, missing cd's & dvd's + unplayable cd's & dvd's. Sometimes I forget were I bought them & I don't have the reciept (especially the multi buys). Never again. I'll open them & test play them for a bit.

I voted none. But I haven't watched all the blu's I've bought. I've only opened them cause I love to tear the plastic off with my boxcutter. It's so fun.

I'm at 120+ BD and over half are still wrapped. I chalk that up to a few things: most I've seen already on DVD, and wanted them on BD for the collection, and the BDs I've watched and haven't liked have all been sold or traded (prob around 30 titles), many of my BD viewings have been Netflix rentals. Someday I'll get around to the back catalogue.

Pan's Labyrinth, 3:10 to Yuma (which im watching tonight), Species (Free Blu Ray), Stir of Echoes (Free Blu ray), Planet Earth (Bought Yesterday), so a total of 8 but I will get around to watching the ones that I haven't opened been watching them before bed usually nowadays.

None, I think there were a couple that took me a week to get to or so due to time commitments, but I won't buy a new one if I haven't watched something that's already been bought.

I count unwrapped/unwatched as still in plastic, honestly. Same principle. Don't want to take the time to open them when I want to watch them. If I'm hit with a Blu withdrawl, I need HD NOW!

even though there are 10-20 unseen, even the 4 I bought today are out of the wrapper. I usually open them before I get home. So the correct answer is 0 are wrapped but that is not one of the choices, so I can’t vote.
