ok well i bought my first title march 17 on monday, that was spiderman trilogy. love marvel. im up to 16 now because hastings bogo sale and j&r's blowout sell. i refuse to pay 30 for one movie so i mainly look for sales...i hope to average about 2 a week tough.

I picked every week but there is not always something worth buying. I also would have picked the on sale choice if this was a multi-choice poll

I'm averaging about 6 or 7 a week since I bought in back in Janurary.

But I'm getting to the point where I only have a few more to cross off the list of movies that were already out before I bought my player - once that happens I'll just be buying one or two a week as the new releases come out.

I primarily buy from 3 sources: Amazon, Ebay, Best Buy and only when they are on sale or a good deal. Time is always on my side as I am not a compulsive consumer anymore...OK maybe I still have a weekness to Yankee memorabillia....

Ill purchase all the new releases im interested in once a week from Amazon. But sometimes il buy a couple catalog titles in between orders.

i look at the weekly releases to see whether i'm buying for that particular week... if i divide the number of blus that i have with the number of weeks i've been into blu, it's about 1.76 blu's per week... so pretty much every week... if i miss a week, i end up buying more the next week to make up for it.

I usually buy 1 or 2 a week. I am always looking for specials or sales, but if I see something I don't have, I'll pick it up. Now that the titles are getting fewer releases now, I am just working on replacing my SD DVD's. Plus, my wife and I are working on replacing our daughters SD DVD's with BLU-RAY.

I usually buy one or two a month. There haven't been a lot of Blu-worthy movies, that i've seen, each week, And we don't have a best buy or anything like that around for previous releases. So I have to settle with our small wal-mart's selection of only new. No iRobot that i would have bought.

I wait for a movie that I really like (New Release), if its one I own on DVD it has to be an all time favorite of mine.

just like a crack head, when i need my fix, like yesterday no plans to buy anything, then for one split second i let the thought of seeing pirates on blu creep into my brain and willpower went out the window at the same time. about 30 minutes later i was at bestbuy. im sure once i have a bigger collection i will be more conservative in my purchases but for now im trying to have enough blu's that if i wanna watch a movie i have one that appeals to me. just broke 50 woot

When a really good movie that I like and own on standard DVD is either on sale or BOGO. I don't buy movies just because they are blu-ray. I will pre-order a movie (National Treasure 1&2) if I've seen it at the theater and liked it.

every week was the stance for me for quite sometime but now the last BD i purchased was Con Air 2 months or so ago. and its because i have been concentrating on finishing my law program and graduate. Damn it they do get harder over the years. but Victory is mine. the next movie i will be getting will be AVPR and I am legend soon.
