How can Walmart is bad place to buy blu rays? Selection Yes and good pricing, NO ,

I dont think best buy is worst place to buy blus, maybe to rude members here that dealt with best buy horrible and got what they deserved. REJECTION!

for good customers there, they deserve and earned the good pricing or customer service

The worst place to buy movies from is the guy who pedals his wears down the street from my loft. I live downtown in Chicago and I'm pretty sure after he sells you a movie he steals it back and then stabs you with an aids infested needle. I think that beats Best Buy with a stick

he sell perfumes too

anyone from philly notice this guy? I know there are many people but you can tell it was his job doing that all day everyday on different train.

The CC near me never has any new titles, not that I would really buy from them in the first place because the prices were so high! The Second would have to be BB. I like to go there and browse, but the retail prices are still way to high and there really aren't to many good deals.

If I really can't wait for a movie to be shipped to me and I have a 10% off coupon or something then I'll hit up BB. Otherwise I'll purchase from Amazon or Wal-Mart has some decent prices on certain discs.

I avoid Best Buy and Target who sell BDs at or near MSRP. Sam's Club and Wal Mart have such skimpy offerings that I don't bother to go there anymore. Frys is my first choice.

Until recently, my Best Buy had crappy selection and the higest prices. It took them until a week after the Toshiba announcement to increase their support for Blu-ray beyond the 50:50 split it had been against HD DVD for shelf space... at a measly 1 shelving unit each. They did nothing following Warner's annoucement.

Things have improved a bit though. There are now 3 full shelves and 1 or 2 endcaps for blu-ray. I was in there around March 20th and they were down to 1 shelf unit for HD DVD, which might be gone now if they followed suit and shipped off their excess HD DVDs.

Their prices still suck though.

On the other hand, Wal-Mart seems to have better prices, but their selection is the absolute worst. My nearest store had one large end unit jammed so tight with BDs that you couldn't actually browse through them. On top of that, the titles were not organized, everything was randomly packed in, much like a bargain bin... minus the space to root through it.

Amazon FTW.

I went to BB today to see if they had any BD specials and I swear that increased some of there prices since l was there last. I think i found maybe 4 titles under 29.99, nothing under 20.00 and many were at 34.99! If studios and retailers want to sell Blu-ray to the consumer then they need some better price points so more consumers will take an interest.

Meijer should be added to that list. The one near me has only 5 Different Blu-Ray Movies... and that's about it.
