At this point I am holding off on most imports unless they feature something the domestic release will lack. However I was quite pleased with "The Island," "Children of Men," and "Lucky Number Slevin." But one of the best-looking has to be the Robbie Williams: Live at the Albert Blu-ray. If any of you are familiar with this Brit pop singer, he has great pipes and the concert is an homage to the rat pack and other vocalists of the Sinatra era. It really is a terrific concert performance. The image is so detailed you can see every drop of sweat, razor burn and blemish on Mr. Wiliiams' mug.

Transporter 1+2 from France, which really puts the US versions to shame.

'Tell No One' is also a great import.

Agreed. I really liked the 'Director's' ending as well. I know I might be in the minority, but anyone who's EVER read a King book should like the alternate ending over the theatrical 'feel-good' one.

I don't know about the French versions, but for me it's Transporter Twin Pack from Japan. Uncut version for both movies, better looking coverart.

My other favs are Danny the Dog (jp) and 16 Blocks (jp).

Haven't seen Trainspotting blu yet but I'd say that's the one I'd most like to own.

The French and Japanese versions were taken from the same HD-Master from what I've heard. Either version is worth an import as the pq is stunning!
