I'm not sure if something like this has been done yet but if so, then mods, delete the thread.
Now, I was thinking, what movie do you think had a good critical reception, but didn't do a good job at the box office. For example, take Slither back in 2006. It may have been from the tiring horror comedy genre, but according to Rotten Tomatoes, it was rated favorably towards critics at an 85% "Certified Fresh" approval rate (it was even placed second in the top horror movies of 2006, heres the link anyway for proof), but it didn't even recover half of the movie's budget. Heres the Wiki link if you want more info on the movie. What movies do you really think deserve more than what the audiences thought of them? |

Oh and also the orignal 1986 Transformers movie. It was a major turning point for the series by killing off several characters and introducing new ones. I can't believe [Show spoiler] . It pretty much really made the childern cry.

Thursday. Bordering on unknown, Thursday was at the end of the dark comic relief/ shock video train that was Pulp Fiction and the movies it inspired.
I absolutely LOVE this movie and Mickey Rourke was a total Dark Ba$tard in it. Tom Jane brought it in is signature stiff and wooden style and it worked for this film. Great cast, great situations and handled on a very minimal budget and in BIG BIG way. Tom Jane signed my copy of the DvD two or three years ago at a Chiller Theater convention and he had to think a minute about what the heck the movie was.
