Heat was the most entertaining movie he's been in, my favorite from the list, but from strictly a performance aspect it has to be Awakenings. He had to portray childishness and wonder in every scene except when he was catatonic.

agree although 15 minutes was aight...

My favorite is SHOWTIME!!

Although I voted Raging Bull, Heat is a movie that definitely merits consideration. Did you think of that one before you starting condescending to everyone?

Well I have Heat on the Pacino list cause I liked him better in that movie.

"She's got a GREAT ASS!!!!! And you got your head, all the way up it!"

C'mon, it's best performance, not good performance. I only included the real great performances, you know, that would be considered Oscar worthy, and that most people have seen. I could have only made it 5 or 6 choices becasue again, we are talking about the best here.

Taxi Driver, hands down.

Having said that, any movie in which he's worked with Scorsese seems to bring the best out of him.

A great role that no one has mentioned was The King of Comedy, which was another Scorsese directed picture.

A great actor, but I think he's at his best when he's challenged with a role a little out of the box. I picked Godfather because it’s a more subtle role that he’s usually given, and the character evolves during the film.
