I did the same thing with Supernatural.

I also bought Stargate Atlantis Season 1 on DVD but held off buying the rest because there were rumors of Season 1 being release on Blu-ray back in 2006-2007. I'm still waiting. FOX needs to step up there TV shows on Blu-ray.

As far as Pushing Daisies Season 1 goes it says it's "In Process" still. But it's not that big of deal, since it's a Christmas Gift.

It's a shame that PD:S1 doesn't have "lossless" audio. I believe this is the first for WB... with the packaging SHOWING "lossless" audio, but none of the disc.

~Alan
I just checked, mine also shipped yesterday Shame Torchwood didnt ship together

Mine says "In Process" still.

Got a bad itch for this one. Smallville last week arrived on Wednesday instead of Teusday, and it wasnt so bad. Plenty of other releases to hold me over a day.

(Thats what I need to tell myself so that I dont go insane...)

Cant wait for this one...

The show itself was mediocre, but I could see it having great quality.

I'm going to write an angry letter if that's the case. How hard can it honestly be? If you aren't including TrueHD then so be it, but take it off the box. It's false advertisement. Not good business.

Sweet. Just checked and both Pushing Dasies and Torchwood are listed as shipped. But I probably won't get mine till the 23rd. Warner shipments always take a long time for me.

Look for Ben Williams' review for this title soon. I got a sneak peak, and the show looks like a winner!

BEN?!?! Where are you?

You list the title as having Dolby TrueHD?

Yessir... it is definitely TrueHD!

Here's the best pic I could muster with my camera phone:

Yeah, I knew it was listed on the back cover, but The Cinema Laser has a review up in which it says that only a "lossy" soundtrack is provided.

Add to that, House over at AVSForum posted disc specs (as posted here by lgans316), and Dolby TrueHD isn't listed... just lossy?

~Alan

Cripes.... I'll look again when I get home. That's what I get for trusting the press release and the box art. I've never made a habit out of checking Bitrates, but it looks like I'm going to have to start now...

I hate it when the sound menus list languages and not audio formats.

Never trust the packaging for anything. The marketing departments are usually responsible for them and they are frequently wrong. All the studios have made mistakes in listing specs for BDs. This will actually end up being one of the worst yet (much like the Terminator 3 fiasco where the main feature was in 1080i instead of 1080P).

I checked the discs to confirm, and they are not TrueHD. Just Dolby Digital 5.1

Nice...

I am still thinking about canceling Blow, as the soundtrack is one of the best parts of the movie.

Wow. Got Pushing Daisies and Torchwood in the mail today. I didn't think I'd get them till next week. Warner's shipping is getting a bit better.
