ill buy it. I thought it was entertaining. was it a good movie? not at all but definitely worth a couple hours of my time every so often!

It could have been so much more had the acting been better. The only character I found sympathetic was Griffin, played by Jamie Bell. He was great. Even Samuel Jackson was off in this one. I'll probably rent it just to give it a second opinion, but I'm not expecting it to get any better for me.

the opening was really lame, but the movie is honestly not as bad as most people made it. i dont think it was the acting as much as it was the script but still a good POPCORN movie. im definitely buying

I would like to buy this but after hearing some bad things about this movie, I don't know if it's worth buying especially with that high price tag. Mostly likely a rental then.

Yes it truly is. It was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Not only that but the book it adapted was amazing. I read the book after I saw the movie in the theater and for the sake of your sanity just go read the book.

I haven't heard much about this movie, definitely a rental first. I've been burned too many times on blind buys based on other peoples reviews.

I'm not saying my opinion is the be all end all, I'm lending some input to the many people who said it would be a blind buy. I didn't say don't buy it, I said don't blind buy it. If you're so bothered by one person's opinion being contrary to your own, it has a 5.9/10 on imdb and a 16 % out of 100 with an average rating of 4/10 on rottentomatoes.

No need to be an ass when I'm trying to do people a favor. It sucks to go out and spend money on something you regret later.


Off subject now and into my own opinions. As for the comments on acting; Anakin aside, someone needs to get Rachel Bilson to stop acting. I just don't know where to start with this girl, she can't act to save her life, her voice is like nails on a chalkboard, and she needs so much make-up to attain a semblance of attractiveness it's disgusting.

I actually walked out of this movie (good thing I don't have to pay for Cinema). I think this is definitely the kind of movie that you should rent first. Oh, and make that 5$ each

Watched it on a Plane coming home a couple of days ago...what a horrific plot. How Jumper made it to the Big Screen is a miracle to me. It should have been a Network Sunday Night Movie.
