Think you'll find that was Timothy Dalton, not Roger Moore. Remington Steele didn't start until 1982 and Moores first Bond film was Live and Let Die, which was in 1973.

As for the different actors playing Bond, for a while Roger Moore was who I considered to be the "real" Bond as well. For Your Eyes Only was the first Bond film I saw at the theater so it took me a while to accept Sean Connery as Bond in some of the earlier ones. Didn't take me long to appreciate the femme fatales/Bond girls in the older Bond movies though.
The only case like that is the movie version of MASH. I can't accept those people in those roles, it just feels completely wrong

I hope they will include the original soundmixes in lossless not DD+, these releases should feature both the 5.1 remixes and original mono in lossless.

Yeah, I want them all too. I sort of got stung last time buying individual titles, then the set came out. I was lucky to offload them actually.

I think I'll wait this time until they start releasing more.

Perhaps they are just testing the waters, see what the demand is like. Unfortunately the demand will be less than if they just released the lot... (due to folks like me holding out).

It is going to be tough not buying For Your Eyes Only though. That one is my favorite.

Since there's a new Bond movie every few years, the sets don't make a lot of sense... as there's always a new one being released to screw up your previous set.

But hope they do not port over the meny system from the ultimate edition. Think they should do more like what they did on special edition where they the meny system var special for each film.

There has only been one real James Bond for me and that person is and always will be Sean Connery. Though I must say Daniel Craig surprised me and had me thoroughly enjoying a Bond film for the first time in many years. I can't wait for his next turn in the role.

Sean was the Bond of the 20th century, Craig the one for the 21st... wonder how they will make Bond 42 a winner in 2054.

The only one I liked with Timothy Dalton was "The Living Daylights". His other film, "Licence to Kill", sucked!
