It looks like the third girl in that poster is named Mai.

From what I've read in interviews, Piccolo will be green. And Bulma has a blue streak in her hair, but that's it.

In the first series, when Goku was just a cute little 7-yo. monkey-boy in the mountains and first met Bulma on the search for the Dragon Balls, the "villain" of the series was the extremely would-be dictator Emperor Pilaf (the equivalent of the Jade Emperor in the Monkey King story)--
Who sent out his two comedy-relief hench-lackeys, cool Mao-uniformed Chinese babe Mai and dim ninja Shuu, to stop Goku and get the Dragon Balls first.

And since Pilaf and Shuu were cartoony-creature characters, the Movie will of course pretend they never existed, and just have Mai trying to stop the heroes.
And, of course, just a throwaway excuse to have any cool Asian babe in the movie fighting, like the one in "X-Men 2".

This movie has been doomed from the start. The fact that the Akira Toriyama has nothing to do with the making of this film is probably the biggest reason this film will not work. This movie is only being released to make quick cash.I wonder what the studio has spent making this film? I'm a Db fan and I would expect that the studio spent a huge amount of money making this film be all it could be. I will have no expectations for this movie, which will help me to feel better when I see it. Maybe, if or when it bombs ,the studio will take it in another direction and try to make up for a huge injustice.

The director has stated he wrote the two sequels out, We will have a trailer soon. Dont forget all you nay sayers and bashers.... One of the producers of the movie is Stephen Chow. If you dont know about him, he made Shaolin Soccor and Kung Fu Hustle; He has stated that a lot of his movies have been heavily influenced on DBZ. They are going to use aspects of the series like the fast fighting and the energy use.

Let the trailer come out and then you decide.

I know she does, but if Pilaf is not existent in this movie, why put her in? On wiki it says she is a enforcer for Piccolo and a shapeshifter, so we will have to wait and see. The only thing i cant stand is that there is no Krillin... WTF. Dragonball movie without Krillin is like having Justice League (TV Series) without the Flash. Hes the glue that holds it together; if it wasnt for him dying Goku couldnt have turned Super Saiyan

Thanks for bringing this info to my attention. Did you enjoy these films? I might just check them out on a dull day. I would also hope that they use aspects of the series like fast fighting and ki use, otherwise this movie would not even be worth watching at all.

Man I use to LOVE Dragonball Z back in the day man! They're putting it to shame I think! But I should just shut my mouth until a trailer comes out! Could be awesome for all I know! But so far looks cheesy as hell...
