You need to give it another chance.

To answer the OP question I think the answer is very simply no...

It will garner attention for Bluray but I highly doubt it will cause the majority of American's to consider Bluray that seriously...

However as a 22 year old I'll be buying it Day 1. I grew up watching and rewatching those classics with my father and I love them to death so I'm VERY excited for The Godfather on Bluray...'

And yeah I know it popular to hate on the 3rd one but to me that was just as good as the other 2...

Quick ques...what about deleted scenes. Will they be included in this release? I see "additional scenes" at the bottom? Is that the same thing?

I didn't think I would care for Britney Spears as the new family matriarch, but she really turned in a tour de force performance... very Lady Macbeth.

Bravo!

Bravo!
My favorite part, was when Matt Damon (Don Corleone) sent his hench-man, Alfredo Bugati (played by Sylvester Stallone) to the big-shot movie director's house (Played by Uwe Bole) to make him "An offer he couldn't understand"

If it has Robert A. Harris' name attached to it for the restoration, supervision of the transfer and mastering, that's good enough for me. I will be buying the Blu-ray collection on day one of release.

Godfather is going to sell really well because everyone who has a blu ray collection should buy this. Its the kind of release we've been waiting for.

It isn't boredom -- as concerns the film. It is character and story development (much of it actual history). "The Godfather" series is certainly not for the shallow, the immature, or the impatient.
