I worked at Sears Electronics for 5 1/2 years and consider myself some what of a buff. I'm in graduate school and my budget allowed for very little TV haha the Samsung 32" A330. Samsung and Sony seem to make the 2 best lcd tv's but that 80 series Panny plasma is awesome. We sold alot of those tv's and the 42 720p panny was the best selling tv of 2007. They have saturated the market and made plasmas popular again. Go with the 80 series see if maybe you could get no intrest financing and try to go for the 46 or 50 inch you will not be sorry. Hell I'm even considering waiting till next year when new models come out and trying to buy this years tv.

I saw this one listed at Best Buy - will most likely pick this one up, since I am in the market for a 32-40" bedroom TV - might also put a BR player in the bedroom, that discounted Panny 30 looks mighty nice,
