It is available via Gamefly also with GH3 and GHA. I doubt controllers are included.

I remember that when the original Nintendo and Sega came out, you could rent the systems at out small town video store. Does anyone know if you can rent a PS3?

The song list for RB2 kinda blows. I rethinking buying any of the new peripherals. I think I'll only buy the game disc only.

Default RB2 bundle delayed for the "other system"

http://kotaku.com/5036770/rock-band-2-bundle-delayed

"Although Rock Band 2 is slated for a September 14 release on the Xbox 360, gamers who were hoping to save some cash by buying the game + instruments bundle will be disappointed.

The game will still launch as a timed Xbox exclusive, but only as a game disc with instruments available separately. The cheaper bundle will not turn up until mid October, coinciding with the PlayStation 3, PS2 and Wii version launch.

The Special Edition bundle will retail for $189, but eager Xbox 360 gamers who want the full Rock Band 2 experience on day one can expect to shell out an extra sixty bucks if they buy everything separately.

You know, maybe this isn't a deliberate attempt to gouge money from a segment of the Rock Band fanbase. Maybe Harmonix are just trying to show Xbox gamers what it feels like to buy a more expensive import version of a game? Bah, either way"

Guess all that money for a timed exclusive was well spent, eh?

I don't know if there is any word on whether RB1 instruments will be compatible.

RB1 is compatiable with rb2, so, rb1 should work with ghwt. I wanna see GH3 support for RB, then I wouldnt have to buy a whole new set next time, just the new drums.

All RB1 instruments will work!!! This is good to see. I am so sick of seeing that damn green X on EVERY main multi-platform game (especially EA) commercial i see on the tube!

I read as it saying RB2 instruments. They are "working hard" for compatibility for instruments currently on the market (RB1). Anyone eslse read it this way or just me?

So....What's going to be the main difference between RB2 and GH:WT? I'm planing on getting one of them.

I may have mis-understood. Did you mean the RB vs GH:WT compatability? If so, I dont know enough facts to throw my two cents in. Thought you meant RB1 and RB2.

Sorry!!!

over-charting for GH: WT what is expected after GH 3.....and the setlist...where GH:WT has more say mainstream songs, Rock Band has more songs period (over 500 before x-mas) and they are all pretty damn good....plus Harmonix has weekly dlc something that Activision lacks in......Graphically, RB is superior in my opinion....which isnt saying much....

The only thing GH:WT has going for it is the music creator which people who have played around with it are panning...saying its harder then it should be and its really not that great....hell, I can do the same thing on my computer that can be done in game, nothing special....

Harmmnix still has 20 songs up their sleeves that will be on free DLC that they couldnt get on disc in time for release.....many are expecting Sublime, Hendrix, The Doors, and other artists....
