http://kotaku.com/5036770/rock-band-2-bundle-delayed
"Although Rock Band 2 is slated for a September 14 release on the Xbox 360, gamers who were hoping to save some cash by buying the game + instruments bundle will be disappointed. The game will still launch as a timed Xbox exclusive, but only as a game disc with instruments available separately. The cheaper bundle will not turn up until mid October, coinciding with the PlayStation 3, PS2 and Wii version launch. The Special Edition bundle will retail for $189, but eager Xbox 360 gamers who want the full Rock Band 2 experience on day one can expect to shell out an extra sixty bucks if they buy everything separately. You know, maybe this isn't a deliberate attempt to gouge money from a segment of the Rock Band fanbase. Maybe Harmonix are just trying to show Xbox gamers what it feels like to buy a more expensive import version of a game? Bah, either way" Guess all that money for a timed exclusive was well spent, eh? |

All I can say, is that it's about damn time.
http://www.joystiq.com/2008/08/18/sc...2-gh-world-to/ I don't know if there is any word on whether RB1 instruments will be compatible. |

I read as it saying RB2 instruments. They are "working hard" for compatibility for instruments currently on the market (RB1). Anyone eslse read it this way or just me?

The only thing GH:WT has going for it is the music creator which people who have played around with it are panning...saying its harder then it should be and its really not that great....hell, I can do the same thing on my computer that can be done in game, nothing special.... Harmmnix still has 20 songs up their sleeves that will be on free DLC that they couldnt get on disc in time for release.....many are expecting Sublime, Hendrix, The Doors, and other artists.... |
