You didn't have much interest to begin with if you didn't know this by now. Have you even seen the Wolverine trailer (w deadpool)? It's one of the best trailers I have seen in years.

If they are going forward with "First Class" it probably is their way of saying "reboot". This is the team that should have been in the first movie anyway. You end the movie with the recruiting of the new X-team from Giant Size X-men 1 and then go on from there. Let them tell the true X-Men story, not the one Singer dreamed up.

The first movie was ok, the second movie was great and the third movie was awful.

This franchise is screaming for a reboot and hopefully it happens in time for The Avengers.I would love to see a movie or movies based the Onslaught storyline.

Does Marvel own X-Men like how they own Iron Man and Incredible Hulk? I saw wondering if they did maybe they could do something about it.

No, they don't own the X-Men franchise.

Any franchise they have already sold is pretty much out of their hands. The studio will always have first refusal to renew their contract. Sony renewed the Spiderman licence even though SM3 was dogshit...

the comics can. if you're talking about the animated show from the early 90's then of course almost anything can beat it. i wasn't too huge a fan of that show. it was alright and it did have some very good episodes, but it really didn't do the comics justice.

Yeah, that movie was very disapointing. WTF man, lets take a perfectly good story line (The Phoenix Saga) and completly mutilate it to an absolutly crap fest.

This is not a bad idea, a high school type TV show like the OC, 90210, gossip girl....but its not just any ordinary school, its Professor X Institute, it has some good potential....but so did the thrid movie, I'm skeptical of this

Default Deadpool!!!

I can't wait for Deadpool, Reynolds is perfect to play a smart-ass, seriously mentally deranged "merc with a mouth".

I like Chuck, so I can hope for more Chuck and less OC, but I have to admit that a story about teenagers coping with growing up surrounded by racism, etc. is probably better done by Schwarz than by a number of others.

Default X-Men: First Class

Apparently this will begin shooting next year.

Quote:
SuperHeroHype.com reports that Tim Pocock, who played the young Scott Summers/Cyclops in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, has revealed that he will reprise the role in 20th Century Fox's X-Men: First Class.

"Currently shooting Australian TV series till February 2010...then X-men first class," he said on his Twitter account. "Wolverine" producer Lauren Shuler Donner recently hinted that a new "X-Men" movie would start production in 2010.

Written by Josh Schwartz, the film will likely draw from elements of the Marvel Comic of the same name, launched in 2006.

I hope they leave Patrick Stewart's face alone this time around. The same for Ian McKellan if he makes an appearance.

Dang. That's what I get for forgetting to use the search button.

EDIT: Um, that thread is about Wolverine 2 not X-Men: First Class.

Your actually right. Somehow I missed it.

On topic, I would like me anything X-Men at the moment. I can't get enough of it, as I am addicted.
