Are you a PS3 Bargain Shopper or Rich Bastard? - Page 3 - Blu-ray Forum

Well I am a bargain shopper and wait till I get a good deal. Not part of the 'I want to play it as soon as it releases' club, except for Uncharted.
But might not wait for a bargain incase of LBP, R2, Uncharted 2 an GoW III. Doesn't make me a 'Rich Bastard' though.

I do both. New releases I pay full retail. Older titles I wait till they're $20 or less.

I waited this long for Resistance $30. I figure it'll be even longer till it drops to $20 and I wanted to play it before R2 comes out.

I am not really a bargain shopper. I get all those which are must own for me. But then my gaming apetite is less compared to many of us here.

To be honest a lot of games i've bought on PS3 have been so short that i've joined a game rental club online and i'm just going to rent most stuff.

i always pay full price for a game that I KNOW has good ratings and good game play..

if it looks too cartoon'ish or so so ratings...then that's when you rent video games.

oh,i was happy about the $500 price drop 1 year ago and i bought it,i wouldn't ever feel okay dropping 800 doller's on a ps3 when they first came out.

I have only have paid full price for Heavenly Sword and MSG4!!!!!! I love those two games. The rest are GS buys. But in the near future i see myself buying a lot more games for full price. Force Unleashed, LBP, FFXIII. I mainly pay full price for games i truly like despite reviews.

I usually pay full price for all PS3 games not because I'm a Rich Bastard, but because I have all the games that I want so far. Therefore, the only games that I'll want will be new releases and I want to play them right when they come out.

I don't pay for any of my games, they are all free. PS3, X360, Wii, PSP, ect...I get anything I want.

Now do I have actual TIME to play games, no. I find I can play maybe once or twice a week at the moment (for less than an hour each time). When I was younger I would have killed to be in this position....getting all the games I want for free. The sacrifices one must make when having children.
