I think the earliest US release would be 3rd or 4th qtr next year, but could be until 2008 (Dreamworks hasn't even started releasing.)

The Amazon uk listing has been updated and no longer lists PAL , they must read this forum.

NYG has imported several titles, including this one. Hopefully he can come in and speak to this transfer.

If a theatrical movie on BD is in a 50Hz rate, it would be from a speeded up for EuropeanTV master
I see.

But what about playing 60hz Blu-ray discs on European players? (like playing WB Region-free BDs on PAL PS3s)

Will it convert the 60hz material into 50hz (internal processing)?

Mediadis wouldn't ship to me in the US, sendit.com once again is out of stock (the product page says they have it, then after ordering states on re-order.)Play.com doesn't ship to the US.
Not interested in blahdvd as my movie is finally on its way.

Do you think that the hmv Island disc is still all regions? Some of the websites have region b or listed for the Island where as amazon uk says all regions.

It's a Warner distribution, theres no region coding. Seen a number of pics of the back cover of this, no region letter on any of them. All the uk shops get the same copies over there so I'm sure it's safe.

It was 4 more dollars at hmv or order from blahdvd as someone else suggested. No reason to wait.
