You have NO IDEA how much you just hit the nail on the head. As a diehard Wild fan since 2000, Rolston is NO WAY worth 5 Million a Year. NO WAY. In the past two seasons, his work ethic and effort in the ice has dropped dramatically. There was no bigger "drifter" or someone that looked as lost as Rolston on the entire Wild Roster. Since he is the biggest softie in the NHL, be prepared to see him NEVER forcheck. His version of forchecking is him going into the corner and watching him bear hug the opponent until he gets a holding penalty. lol I hope the the Devils coaching staff keeps him off the point on the PP too. If a puck gets passed to him (and I am not even talking a quick/fast pass), watch him struggle to hold onto it and have him miss it and watch the puck go back across the Blue Line so the whole Devils PP can reset the PP unit... he effectively kills his opponents PP's. It's bad. None of this is made up either. It is what he was known for in nearly every game he ever played for in a Wild Sweater. It really got old. No one was dogged more in the Xcel Energy Center than him... and for good reason too. He is NOT worth the money he is getting. Poor Devils fans. lol

He needed someone like Bouchard always setting him up on all of his goals for him to be effective. If you're a Devils fan, be prepared to watch him take Slap shots from the most horrific angles and never try ANYTHING ELSE. I am so glad he is not on this team anymore. He was a cancer to that Wild Locker room. Have fun doing nothing in NJ Roli!!!

There were a few things that really pissed me off in 08'. Do you guys know if 09' will support the following features:
-rumble support for PS3
-PS3 playing at 60fps (I heard it was, but confirmation would be good!)
-in game xmb support for custom soundtracks

I tried scouring the internet to find this out, but came up with nothing.

Should have rumble (I dont think the DS3 was available when 08 came out and EA is too lazy to do patches lol).

Yes to the 60fps at least in everything Ive read

NO to custom soundtracks....for US. the 360 users get custom soundtracks. Gotta love EA.

I plan on getting this weekend. I love the NHL series. I won't be starting a season til the first roster update is made available. Not going to make that mistake twice.

I wish that EA Sports was able to keep the rights Triple Play/MVP series. I miss a quality baseball game.

Bil gamestop didnt get it by now either?

Im waiting until BBV gets it so I get it for basically nothing with my credit. So Ill have it on Friday. Wont be playing much until Sunday night though with moving this weekend and football on sunday.

I don't know didn't check them......checked bbv and best buy both no goes....bbv didnt even have it in the computer and had no idea when it was coming in...

just came back from futureshop and picked it up . Looks like they took it out one day earlier. Canadian release was supposed to be the 11th even though US was on tuesday. I can't wait to play this game

Will the US-version of NHL09 work on European servers in online gaming, or are the PS3 games restricted by ABC ares in online? Wouldn't like to pay 70€ for this game in Europe when i can get it in 50€ from US .
