Any body know how to adjust the TREBLE/BASS on this thing? It has nothing pertaining to the adjustment of the Treble or Bass in the manual or it's online home page. Thanks

Well, Thanks to you guys at blu-ray.com i just bought the Sony DTR-DG820 Receiver, before blu-ray.com i didn't even know what a receiver was! the only downside is i have to wait till i can afford a decent speaker system (even though it pains me to see my brand new receiver just sitting there ) but like a blu-ray member once said it is best to buy in small increments than go for broke, quality over quantity or something like that, i am now looking to see what speaker system i can get, preferably one with a good decent powered sub 300 watt >> in the range off 800 - 1000 dollars, any suggestions? and the back of the receiver looks a bit daunting to me, is it difficult to connect speakers to it, do i need any additional stuff to connect the speaker cables into the receiver? Thanks in advance.

Give the Yamaha RX-V663 a serious listen, and then buy it online. It contains all of the HD decoders, sounds fantastic, and pumps out 90 watts X 7 rated full range. Yamaha's have great sound quality, and are equally good for both movies and music.

Kingofgrills,
ive heard so many times on this forum that yamaha is great for music and onkyo is great for movies.

I could never understand this statment ?I find music sound awesome and same with movies with Yamaha.
Ive never had any complaints. where do you think some of these people get there info from?

I know you must of heard the same thing down the line somewhere?
A lot of times i feel like iam defending my reciever with onkyo owners,(i know its a personl preferance) But Is there something iam missing?
