Of course, hardcore mode is another matter. That's tough.

But, I think this is a personal thing. There's a lot to take in. I spent a little too much time reading and stuff before playing.
Haven't done hardcore yet, that's my next one, there's a couple trophies for that! I didn't read very much, took me a while to catch on to a few things, I dove right into it. All in all, love the game, and once you get to the end you have a lot better grip on it, and it's fun to play back through. There's still two other people to play as, so I'm doing good!

Yeah, I know someone who jumped in and it took them a little longer to figure stuff out.

I've been waiting for the game for a long time and read forums, etc.

Hardcore is funny, because prey runs from predators, so if you're not careful, your unit will follow the unit it's attacking to the other side of the map.

That's what artillery is for. mwahahahahahha. I loved artillery, sit back and just pound them to bits! I learned VERY quick to spread my people out though, after a few WMD strikes and losing everybody, I got the point!

I won't be joining the official fun until xmas, unless i find a sweet deal before than. Although i still may let it rest under the tree

Nonetheless, I've been rockin out the demo in the open matches vs. the cpu and getting better everytime. My first few tries were indeed frustrating as there is no real tutorial on what to do and how. but trial and error has worked well.

Voice command is amazing and what really makes this game fun and fast pace. I hope more developers of all genres take note. Its smart to start off with the controler first to help you memorize your voice options. It only took a few tries (well more than a few) to go from a command rating of E to B, i haven't recieved an A yet, but i'm happy with B's....

Just know that
Tanks > Transports > Gunships >Tanks.

Engineers > Gunships > Riflemen > Engineers >Transports > Artillery.

Airstrikes rock and provide fast relief. I love gun ships as they are fast and can be a good set of eyes until i learn how to use the UAV/Sitrep a bit better.

Storming and taking over buildings with your riflemen looks pretty cool.

I think i'll try to pick up a strategy guide. Haven't bought one in maybe 12 years. haha
