You hit the nail on the head. I'm assuming all of us have an appreciation for film and movies in general. I like movies from all genres. Some of my movies I love because they're mind bending and thought provoking dramas while others are fun pop corn flicks designed as escapism flicks. I love great action flicks like Die Hard and Terminator (heck yea!); I like films that cause me to think like Capote, Crash, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind; I like great horror flicks like the original Halloween and Hitchcock's classics. And I'm not even ashamed to admit that I like an occasionally flick that's designed more for females, such as Moulin Rouge and Breakfast at Tiffany's because they're simply well made films period.

If you don't buy it just because you think your macho reputation is at stake then I feel sorry for you, and I dare you to try and insult me about owning Sleeping Beauty to my face... Then we shall see who's macho, man with Sleeping Beauty or man without...
lol... welcome to Blu-ray.

I hope you're simply trying to be funny.

But I'm 32 with no kids, and enjoy all sorts of movies. You can see from my Collection Link that I have everything from Sleeping Beauty and Enchanted to Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Shining. I'm a huge fan of a variety of genres. And frankly, I enjoy this so-called "Crap" more than a lot of modern utter crap.

It's a family film intended for ALL ages...not just six year old girls. Your lack of understanding regarding just how historical, beloved, and honored this film is...well, it's just astounding. The artist and various creative minds who worked on this film were pure genius. The work done on the film originally and the work done to restore the film for blu-ray release is respected by true film enthusiasts of all ages.

However, perhaps you must be over a particular age (not a teenager) to truly appreciate the importance of films like this one and it's historical significance.

Exactly. Just look at the people who created this film. Many hard working men put much passion into creating this film. Sleeping Beauty was Walt Disney's favorite animated film of all the ones he lived to see. All you need is an appreciation for animation and film in general to enjoy a film such a this. Really. Some people are just very insecure. If Sleeping Beauty isn't your cup of tea, there's nothing wrong with that, but what's up with the close-minded comments towards others who do enjoy it?

I'm not trying to be mean or sexist, but it's not a movie that i see most twenty five year old im assuming men buying this movie or any movie like it. It's just that the movie is so powder puffy. If i had all of the money in the world and enough space and shelving to buy evey movie i saw , i might consider buying it and shelving it but i would never watch it because i'm not six. I have better things to do with my weekends then watch sleeping Buety. And i bet that this guy would never have told us that he likes this movie and he's going to pay thirty bucks for it if we knew who he was. I bet he doesn't exactly tell his freinds this either. Again not trying to mean, just stating what ever bodys thinking.

I know a fari number of people are suckered in my titles just because they are considered to be "classic" or whatever and that fancy packing with bright colors can be inviting but come on...
Why do you care what I spend MY money on

Obviously you're not old enough to appreciate it.

Or you've never even seen it and are going by the pretty picture on the cover.

And for goodness sake, could you put a little effort into your spelling and grammar.

And why would he be ashamed to buy Sleeping Beauty. There's adult Disney Fans all over the world.

Now if he said "Meet The Spartans" instead of Sleeping Beauty, then he might have a point.

The only 25 year old men who would be embarrassed by purchasing a classic such as this one would be the insecure ones...such as yourself. Men who over sell their masculinity are at times trying to mask something.

Thank you. I'm glad this was bothering someone else, too. I was a journalism major in college so I'm a little anal about that kind of thing so I decided I should keep my mouth shut instead, ha.

I make some spelling and grammar errors myself. But at least I try.

If I see "sleeping Buety" one more time I'm gone pop a vein.
