As far as GiTS: Innocence is concerned, it is my other 7.1 LPCM title in my collection. Didn't I say I watch Anime? I also have GiTS: Innocence on DVD and the first GiTS movie and GiTS: Stand Alone Complex series.

Could the animation have been better? Yes. Could it have been better considering their budget? Doubtful. You have to understand that Anime movies get played in theaters when they come out in Japan. They usually have much bigger budgets to work with. You don't get those types of budgets in the US for animation features. That is one reason why they come out directly on home video. That is why I appreciate the animation for what it is in the US. I will continue to enjoy this title and present it to others. It's too bad you can't enjoy this BD title like I can.
These two titles were bad on DVD and they're no better here. I am not going to go into detail again because it's already been covered in other threads. Needless to say all the Lionsgate/Marvel animated titles have had plenty large enough budgets and could have been much better.

You want to see superior US titles of its type look at the Hellboy/Starz titles produced by Guillermo del Toro Sword of Storms and (hopefully) the upcoming Blood and Iron. Good stuff, with a lower budget than the Marvel stuff and yet still better (quality wins out). Now if only Starz would put them out on BD...

Hopefully the new Warner direct to video Justice League titles will be on Blue as well.

Personally, I liked both the movies, but I'm heavy into anime/animation. The scene where Hulk goes on a rampage is insane. B.T.W., Target has it for $27.95 if you live in the US. That's the cheapest I've seen it from a B & M store.

I'm not into anime much...but I have a soft spot for comics because I read them alot when I was younger...

I liked both movies for what they offered...even though the 2nd could have used more action...

What did you think of the sound on these movies? Do you have a 7.1 setup?

That's how I like playing my titles, too! Let the neighborhood know there's an epic battle taking place in your home!

Reread my opinion, this is not good people. Most others agree. If you want a good Marvel/Lionsgate get Hulk Vs., it's their best by far.

I have to agree with Dave.... Hulk Vs. is way better than UA and UA2. Planet Hulk is also pretty good.
