I think you're a bit hard with BB service.
You're still getting an amazing price due to web site mistake.
The delivery speed isn't always like that.
I had good experiences with them.

But that's the point. Their delivery times are not usually this bad but because they made a mistake they tried to get people to cancel and delayed shipment for weeks. That's a terrible approach to customer service.

Truthfully, we have no proof that this is the case. We know that there was a recall in Canada on this blu-ray due to Alliance-Universal shipping the wrong disc in the case. It was a pathetic wait time yes, but I don't think it was entirely Best Buy's fault.

True, but what about the people who bought for $19.99 on-line then were refused in-store (with the printout in hand) when trying to pick up the disc in person? They had the disc then, no?

Yes, those stores that had the disc on-hand and turned them down were definately in the wrong. I tried to get it matched at the local store, but they didn't have any stock since the discs were being sent back.

I finally got my copy delivered today! the wife called me at work to tell me your stupid blu-ray is here.

Dam, when is she going to except Blu-ray is better and there is a difference between DVD and Blu.
Oh well, I'll just blast my Home Theater and kick her out of the house when I watch it with my son this weekend.

The 2 copies I ordered arrived today, both without slipcovers. What's interesting is that there are 3 (yes 3) UPCs. 1 on the cover art, then a sticker covering that, than another sticker covering the previous one.

Ah great then. You should have a regualr delivery delay then.

And there sould be more 1 day deal for BLU ! I decided to wait for titles to go down (like Wall-E). It's too expensive.
