i remember existenz coming out around the time matrix/the thirteenth floor or something named like that, and i thought it blew both of them away as far as being original sci-fi movie questioning reality and such.

I'd be quite happy with Serenity and Pitch Black at the moment.

It may not be low budget but it is indeed crap. I saw it in the theater and nobody I was with liked the film. The fact that it mostly takes place inside a computer game is apparently supposed to make up for the horrible acting.

eXistenZ. Capital X. Capital Z. Complete Crap.

I would love Equilibrium on Blu ray... Was a great movie that the HD treatment would do wonders for.... I thought it might be out in the UK....

Can't wait for Event Horizon...

Like those few people that I know that have seen this movie "eXistenZ", we all agree that it sucked ass in so many levels...specials effects, acting, plot, set design, dialogue, creature design, props, bad script...you can't polish a turd in HD. I do think Jennifer Jason Leigh is hot though.

Oh yeah, I'd take EXPLORERS, though it's not on my A-List anymore.

As for eXistenZ, it's warmed-over Cronenberg leftovers. Sort of what GHOSTS OF MARS is to John Carpenter, or EQUINOX to Alan Rudolph.

I desperately want to see Apollo 13 on Blu, but I would hardly consider it sci-fi seeing as how it actually happened.

Well, if they faked the moon landings, that means the Apollo 13 accident was also faked, so...
