The chances of getting any of these on BD are slim to none. I'll have to keep my fingers crossed for future formats.
I think we may get Stand By Me eventually, it will be a while though. Hope so anyways

I agree, those would be great on Blu, but would be surprised if we see any of them anytime soon, but we may be surprised. I see "Dead & Buried" is coming out on Blu in the next couple of months, and that's a movie I would have put in the same boat as a lot of the above.

I'm hoping with remakes of Friday the 13th, and Elm Street, that special editions of the originals will hit blu, along with the Halloween series (Halloween II Please!!).

But my number one movie want on Blu is......"Jaws"

Would also love a lot of the tv boxsets to go blu....Angel, Buffy, Ghost Whisperer, CSI's, Law & Order, etc etc

I suspect that the studios have their Halloween classics in the pipe to be ready for next Halloween. I would expect the original Friday the 13th and Elm Street movies to see release alongside their remakes.

Jesus, most of these titles listed on this thread will get released on Blu-ray as soon as the medium is the industry standard.

Hell, most of what I am seeing on here are horror films, but I am not even seeing any obscure horror films listed.

Someone mentioned Cannibal Holocaust in one of the first replies. I emailed Grindhouse last week and they literally took a day to get back to me. I asked if they were planning to get into Blu-ray and they replied with a simple "Yes". I would bet my last dollar that when they start to do Blu-ray, which will happen as long as the format doesn't fade away unexpectedly, that Holocaust will be one of their first releases. If not their first.

I mean seriously though. Did I really see the Phantasm series and The Return of the Living Dead listed as well as Fight Club? And The Toxic Avenger series? Troma *****s out everything they do. As soon as Kaufman knows that he can make money off of Blu-ray, he'll release a new Toxie box set every few years.

I really hope that some of the titles that are listed in this thread are jokes and I am just really, really thick headed.

Considering not all the Pantasms even have a US DVD release, I don't think it is certain

Is Innocence obscure enough? It'd look gorgeous in blu.

The Wizard? Are we talking about the biggest gaming system advertisement. About going to Video Championship games in LA? Game ads, Power Glove, and the introduction to Super Mario Bros. 3. That one? Love that movie.

Oh. Million Dollar Mystery will never come out. Watched it all the time growing up and had it on VHS (copied) but has never come out on DVD
