Black Snake Moan... under-rated?

BSM is a great flick, though I haven't seen it since the theatrical release back in 2007-ish.

I remember reading that SLJ learned to play the guitar?! for the film - impressive, if true. Both he & CR gave great performances here.

I thought JT was OK - I could be wrong, but I got the impression his character was suffering from some kind of PTSD?!...

If you're doing that for the reasons I'm guessing you are, check out After.Life, you should be happy. Thought I think Christina looks better in BSM (blonde hair and that slutty country girl thing), you see a lot more a lot clearer in AL, and it's a decent flick too!

I can't recall if it was PTSD, or just crippling anxiety. He was good and ****ed up somehow. Shame I can't recall for sure yet re-visited within the last month. Guess my attention was elsewhere.
