I'd have to agree with both of these. The Dark Knight prologue is my go-to BR demo for people who come to see my theatre for the first time. It's a nice, self-contained little story that makes my projector look amazing. I reeeeeally hope the Dark Knight BR opens up the aspect ratio for the IMAX-filmed scenes.

And yes, the small object detail in The Fall is incredible. Seeing detail in the people from super far away in the desert scenes ... frickin' amazing!

Considering it was a low-budget film I always thought the original Halloween looked excellent on BD. Yes, I'm aware of the whole color-timing controversy too.

All the movies in my collection one way or another make me awe with the picture and the sound however if I was to pick one, it has to be the Alien series especially the first 2. I'm just so surprised how'd they managed to make a film from 1979 and 1986 to look and sound really, really good.

For a lot of movies I bought, I exepected great PQ and got it.

I didn't know what to expect in terms of PQ when I bought The Wild Bunch, and I think it looks fantastic!

Was the quality of this actually great? I was thinking about picking it up. Discretely I might add.
