Another trilogy I am down for, and it will probably be priced between $50-$60.

Hey now!!! January is really looking up. Blu-ray fans will not only be treated to Pineapple Express and King King, but now we are getting the Bourne series as well. This is really good news.

You can partially thank the incessant nagging for it on forums and such. I was as suprised as anyone when that popped up last night, because it'd been "We're in the process of doing them, but don't have a date" as recently as a few weeks ago. The same went for King Kong, but something has changed in Uni's strategy, going more aggressive.

If what I'm hearing now is true, there should be some more happy announcements for the first quarter coming whose timetables have been pushed up. I don't want to list specific titles because things are still VERY fluid.

Uni has been putting out great stuff on Blu, so this is great news.

Fantastic news! I'm surprised, from what I had read I had the feeling these wouldn't be out until the end of next year or even later if they waited until the 4th Bourne. I never did buy the 3rd one because I wanted it in HD. Thank you Universal.

I hope the blu-ray version of the 1st movie is not the theatrical but the vastly superior extended edition that was released a few years ago on DVD.

No chance of single releases?

Unless Universal deliver a superior transfer to the HD-DVD versions I'll pass on this.

Is the list price correct?

All previous HD DVD titles, including ones that had $39.99 list prices, have had $29.99 list prices when they debuted on BD. Why is this not the case with these?

King Kong, American Gangster, The Kingdom, among others, were $39.99 HD DVD titles. All of those have $29.99 prices on BD.

I have the HD-DVD versions. I'll not be purchasing them on BR if they don't offer any notable improvements.
